I’m Kim and after 11 years as a birth and postpartum doula, I am so excited to step into a new way of serving postpartum families. I am the co-founder and co-owner of Austin Doula Care, where I also teach Birthing from Within childbirth classes and facilitate a postpartum support group. I have worked closely with Sunayana and the team at It’s More Than Milk for years and am looking forward to learning and growing under their mentorship.
In addition to my work life, I am the Mom of 5 children; 2 off at college and 3 still at home. I also love doing pottery and knitting and spending time in whatever body of water I can find.
Kim is an IBCLC candidate. She has completed University of California at San Diego’s Lactation Consultant: Pathway 2 program, and has over 500 clinical hours working directly with breast/chestfeeding dyads under the supervision of an IBCLC. She will be sitting for the IBCLC board exam in Fall 2026.
All visits with Kim are private pay only; a lactation super bill will be provided for families to submit to their insurance provider.
