We are unable to directly verify your insurance. You must verify using the links to Wildflower Health or The Lactation Network. It’s More Than Milk does not submit this information for you. The responsibility for insurance verification and reimbursement is yours.
All initial postpartum office visits are subject to a one-time supply fee of $25. This supply fee is not covered or reimbursable by insurance, and is the client’s responsibility.
Cigna:
We are partnered with Wildflower Health (WH) to provide in-network lactation services for families with Cigna health insurance.
Family will be approved for six (6) visits, which include prenatal visits, virtual visits, and in-person visits. Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. You will receive an email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with Wildflower Health.
A credit card on file is required to schedule all lactation visits. A travel fee applies for insurance home visits.
Other Providers:
We do not work with TriCare, Oscar, or Medicaid.
If your insurance plan does not work with The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health, we offer self pay rates and can provide you with a lactation super bill for insurance reimbursement. It’s More Than Milk does not submit this information for you. The responsibility for insurance verification and reimbursement is yours.
A credit card on file is required to schedule all lactation visits. It will not be charged until after the visit, if applicable.
It’s More Than Milk can accept cash, credit cards, or your FSA/HSA cards. An invoice can be sent prior to your visit.
Payments are due at time of service, unless discussed ahead of time.
TLN and WH can only be used for private prenatal and postpartum lactation visits. Insurance benefits through TLN and WH cannot be used for small group prenatal lactation classes.

We are partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide lactation services for families with most Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, United Healthcare PPO, Aetna PPO, Curative, and Multiplan insurance coverage plans.
TLN-participating insurances can be used for office visits only. All home visits for those insurance providers are self pay only.
Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. You will receive an email confirmation of your submission and a separate email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with TLN. If your visit is in less than 48 hours, please mark your request as Emergent so it is prioritized.

Changes to consult limits have recently been put in place for TLN coverage. Confirmation of coverage emails should include details for the number of visits your plan allows. TLN does not cover virtual or telehealth visits for Aetna or United families, though your individual plan may.
While the majority of TLN patients do not have any out-of-pocket costs for covered preventative lactation visits, some insurance plans may apply standard cost-sharing such as copays, deductibles, or coinsurance.
Any patient responsibility is determined by you or your baby’s specific health plan. If your insurer processes a balance after your visit, TLN will notify you of the balance after the claim is processed. You are encouraged to review your plan benefits if you have questions about your potential cost-sharing obligations for lactation services.
