1. Verify your insurance provider
It’s More Than Milk partners with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide in-person lactation services to families with some United Healthcare, Aetna, and Multiplan insurance coverage plans.
For families with Cigna, we work with Wildflower Health (WH) to provide up to six (6) in-person or virtual lactation support.
We do not work with BlueCross BlueShield, Anthem, or Medicaid at this time.
United, Aetna, and Multiplan:
We are partnered with The Lactation Network (TLN) to provide in-person lactation services for families with most United Healthcare, Aetna, and Multiplan insurance coverage plans. Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. Click the button below to verify. You will receive an email confirmation of your submission, and a separate email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with TLN . A credit card is required to schedule all lactation visits. TLN does not cover virtual or telehealth visits. Those visits are self pay and you will be provided with a super bill.
Please note, changes to consult limits have recently been put in place for TLN coverage. Confirmation of coverage emails should include details for the number of visits your plan allows. TLN does not cover virtual or telehealth visits, though your individual plan may.
Cigna:
We are partnered with Wildflower Health (WH) to provide in-network lactation services for families with Cigna health insurance. Family will be approved for six (6) visits, which include prenatal visits, virtual visits, and in-person visits. Pre-approval must be obtained online prior to our visit. You will receive an email confirming or denying your insurance provider’s participation with Wildflower Health. A credit card is require to schedule all lactation visits.
If your insurance plan is not in network with The Lactation Network or Wildflower Health, we offer self pay rates and can provide you with a lactation super bill for insurance reimbursement. Read about insurance versus self pay. A credit card is required to schedule all lactation visits. TLN and WH can only be used for private prenatal and postpartum lactation visits. Group classes are self-pay only. We do not work with BlueCross BlueShield, Anthem, Oscar, or Medicaid at this time.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
Clients must reach out to It’s More Than Milk by email (hello@itsmorethanmik.com) or by text (817-203-4881) to reschedule or cancel appointments. This applies to all clients.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee of 50% of the self pay price, to the credit card on file. This applies to all clients.
Rescheduling an appointment less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will be subject to a fee of $100, to the credit card on file. Rescheduling is handled on a case-by-case basis. This applies to all clients.
Clients more than 15 minutes late to in-person visits and more than 10 minutes late to virtual visits will have a shortened lactation consulting session. Alternatively, the visit may be rescheduled with a fee to a date and time convenient for It’s More Than Milk Lactation Services. This applies to all clients.
All no call, no show visits (both virtual and in-person) will be charged the full self pay rate to the credit card on file. This applies to all clients.
