I’m Kim and after 10 years as a birth and postpartum doula, I am so excited to step into a new way of serving postpartum families. I am the co-founder and co-owner of Austin Doula Care, where I also teach Birthing from Within childbirth classes and facilitate a postpartum support group. I have worked closely with Sunayana and the team at It’s More Than Milk for years and am looking forward to learning and growing under their mentorship.

In addition to my work life, I am the Mom of 5 children; 2 off at college and 3 still at home. I also love doing pottery and knitting and spending time in whatever body of water I can find.

Kim is currently enrolled in University of California at San Diego’s Lactation Consultant: Pathway 2 program. In order to complete the requirements for the IBCLC exam, Kim must obtain at least 300 hours working directly with breast/chestfeeding dyads under the supervision of an IBCLC.
